1.2 Monitoring Data
- URLs: Website addresses you choose to monitor
- Screenshots: Visual captures stored in cloud storage
- Page content: HTML and text content for change detection
- Monitor configuration: Selectors, frequencies, preferences
1.3 Authentication Data for Monitored Sites
If you monitor authenticated pages, we may store cookies, OAuth tokens, custom headers, and recorded browser actions. This data is encrypted at rest.
1.4 Usage and Analytics Data
- Device information (browser, OS)
- IP address (for security and audit logging)
- Feature usage patterns
- Session data (login times, activity)
2. Browser Extension
Our browser extension:
- Does not passively collect browsing history
- Only stores URLs you explicitly choose to monitor
- Records browser actions only during active element selection
- May capture cookies for websites you add to monitoring
- Syncs data with your SiteMoni account
- Communicates only with sitemoni.com servers
3. AI-Powered Analysis
When you enable AI analysis for a monitor:
- Screenshots are sent to OpenAI for processing
- OpenAI's GPT-4 Vision analyzes changes and generates summaries
- This feature is optional and requires explicit opt-in
- AI analysis consumes credits from your account
By enabling AI analysis, you consent to this international data transfer.
4. Third-Party Services
We share data with these service providers:
- Stripe: Payment processing
- OpenAI: AI analysis (when enabled)
- SendGrid: Email delivery
- Twilio: SMS delivery
- Cloudflare: Content delivery and storage
5. Notification Channels
When you configure notifications, we may share data with: Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Telegram, custom webhooks, and automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n). You control which channels receive notifications.
6. Data Storage and Security
- All data encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL
- Sensitive data (OAuth tokens, credentials) encrypted at rest
- Passwords hashed using industry-standard algorithms
- Screenshots stored in Cloudflare R2
7. Data Retention
Monitoring data is retained based on your subscription:
- Trial: 7 days
- Starter: 30 days
- Pro: 90 days
- Business: 365 days
Account data is retained while active. After deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Audit logs may be retained longer for security.
8. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account
- Export: Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent: Disable optional features like AI analysis
